Inter-House Resumes for 2026

The battle between Ashclyst, Danes and Hembury resumed on Friday as the boys and girls from Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 met for table tennis in the sports hall. At the same time Y11 rallied together for inter house Benchball. 

The sports hall was filled with all 12 tables and with areas divided by age it was fabulous to watch the competition rage.

A new sport to Clyst Vale, there is clearly considerable table tennis talent around and we look forward to Ashclyst taking on Danes next week. This week however, it was a draw in Y7 between Danes and Hembury, a narrow win for Danes in Y8, a Hembury win in Y9 and a win for Danes in Y10. Across the school in the hall it was Hembury who enjoyed the victory in the bench ball.

Passport to Prom stamps, a few chocolates and some nice sounds complemented the friendly competition for the Y11 girls.
