Clyst Vale House System

The House System

All students at Clyst Vale belong to one of our three Houses, Ashclyst, Hembury or Danes which are named after local woodlands.
The House system aims to foster a sense of community, belonging, and healthy competition.

Students meet in their Houses on a half-termly basis and throughout the year have a range of calendared events and competitions to join in which range from sport, through to art, spelling bees, chess, debating and quizzes. In lessons there is the opportunity for students to earn House Points.
