Equipment

KS3 Equipment
Pens
Students should bring at least two blue or black pens for general use.
Students should also have at least one green pen. These are used for self and peer assessment and corrections/improvement to work. We recommend the four-in-one biros, as these save space and allow for easy changes between pen colours.

Pencils
Students should have one or two pencils at all times for sketching, graphs and diagrams. Specialised pencils of various hardness used for Art work will be loaned to students in lessons.Students are welcome to bring sets of colouring pencils if they wish. This is not an expectation but can be useful in various subjects and save time in lessons.

Specialist Equipment
For Maths and Science lessons students will require a Scientific calculator. We 
recommend the Casio fx-83GT which is available on Amazon.
For Maths students should also bring a protractor and compass.

Other Stationary
· 1 ruler (we recommend the foldable type)
· 1 eraser
· 1 pencil sharpener
· 1 highlighter
· 1 reading ruler (these will be provided in the first half term for all students, but must be replaced if lost or damaged)
Students are welcome to bring their own glue stick and mini whiteboard pen if they wish.

KS4 Additional Equipment
KS4 students will require additional equipment to support with the move to GCSE level learning. This will be dependent on the subjects chosen, and separate equipment lists will be published as required once students choose their options.
To support with revision, it is recommended that students in Years 10 and 11 have a range of coloured highlighter pens, a revision notebook and pack of index cards to use as flashcards. Paint pens, solvent based glue and Tippex are not allowed in College.
