Year 8 and Year 9 Inter House Cross Country

The inter house competition enjoyed a day in the sun on Friday as the runners from Years 8 and 9 took to the rolling course. About 60 runners tackled to double loop and the event was marked by some top class athletes as well as those running to add to the participant numbers for their house. The event was dominated by Ashclyst who ran out victors across the two year groups and closed the gap to the other two Houses in the year long competition.

The top three runners received houses points, as did the Houses in order of number of participants. There was also 'spot prizes' with points allocated for outstanding effort.
