Country Badminton Finals

The Key Stage 3 Boys squad performed superbly in the country badminton finals all day Friday. Representing the Exeter and District Partnership they were up against the best from across Devon. Led by Harry and Dexter the boys rose to the occasion with some outstanding play in both singles and doubles. They were supported by Elliot and Archie who also played better than ever challenging all before them and gaining praise from the other PE staff. In the end they finished an brilliant second place in the county, missing out on South West qualification by a handful of games. Alongside them Kasey who captains the Key Stage 3 Girls squad was there as coach and leader for a special event for young students with learning difficulties. Despite her team not qualifying this year, she did an amazing job in support of the event and had praise heaped upon her by the England Badminton coaches. A great day all round rewarded with a McDonalds stop off on route home.
