One of our Year 7 students has been making great strides during lockdown, improving his fitness and running skills by taking on the ‘Race at Your Pace’ challenge.
This is an online challenge-based initiative, to encourage people to become more active, with a full month in which to complete the challenge that you sign up to – whether that is running, walking, cycling or stepping.
Our Year 7 student chose to run 25 miles in April, and got in touch to let us know he had completed his target, which is a fantastic achievement. During May, he plans to run a further 25 miles, with other members of his family choosing different distances to complete.
If you would like to find out more about these virtual challenges (which involve a monthly entry fee to cover the cost of the technology, certificate and medal that are awarded on completion of your goal), then click on the logo below, which will link you to the ‘Race at Your Pace’ website.
