“Lucky For Some” – Clyst Vale Bingo!

Thanks to the sterling efforts of the PTFA, aided by our Kenya group and Miss Brotherton, supported by 120 members of the community, the Easter Chocolate Bingo raised a whopping £700. The proceeds will be used to pay for the return visit of 12 Kenyan students from Ndururumo High School next year, which will cost an estimated £10,000.

The evening was a reminder of why we persisted with the name ‘Community College’. It was wonderful to see so many different sections and such an age range all paying rapt attention to the caller and dabbing their bingo cards. The photos below give some idea of what Chocolate Bingo looked like, but unfortunately cannot convey fully the superb, friendly, convivial atmosphere.
