Maths Challenge Success

mathscompYear 13 mathematicians took part in the UKMT Senior maths Challenge last month. This is a national competition open to A level mathematicians which had over 70,000 entrants.

Tom Hart and Oli Self both attained a high enough score to continue to the next stages of the competition (open to only 4,000 nationally). Tom went on to the Senior Kangaroo, whilst Oli with a massive score of 115 out of 125 went on to the prestigious Maths Olympiad where he had three and a half hours to answer five very tricky questions.
