Good luck eat2beat team!

Mrs Shillingford’s fabulous Y13 students Nina, Millie, Ella, Heidi, Eliz and Lucy presented their excellent ‘eat2beat’ app concept in the live final of the prestigious Imperial College Science in Medicine Poster Competition on Wednesday afternoon.

The team was slick and professional, putting their Coronary Vascular Disease prevention app concept across clearly, whilst handling questions calmly and knowledgeably.

Within this category, 10 schools were involved at this stage, with some finalists hailing from grammar and private schools and providing very stiff competition.

The judging panel is comprised of 12 experts in the field, primarily from Imperial College – 5 Professors and 3 Doctors alongside other research fellows and event partners.
