Exeter v East Devon Athletics Meeting

 

Well done to the seven students from Clyst Vale who competed on Thursday evening at Exeter Athletics Arena. The competition was tough as country round selection was up for grabs. Joe jumped well in the long jump 4m49cm and George ran to a respectable 25.47secs in the 200m. Willow ran beautifully in the heat over 800m clocking 2mins 39secs. Qualifiers include Evie in the high jump 1m 37cm, Daisy in the 1500m 5mins 26secs and Jasper over 1500m 4mins 26 sec. Harry managed to qualify in both his favoured Triple Jump 11m 99cm and also Long Jump! A super evening of athletics although the wind made some events a challenge.
