Our Community Christmas Tree at Killerton

The well-being ambassador group have been working hard over the past few weeks to create Christmas decorations. This is part of the National Trust community project at Killerton where we were asked to decorate a tree which will be on show in the Chapel as part of the Christmas celebrations.

The students created natural decorations made of paper, wood and old material to produce an eclectic tree with a yellow and blue colour theme.  They added positive messages about diversity and hope to encourage well-being. The tree was topped with a decoupage gold star- (because we are a gold RRS school). The tinsel made of material scraps was fun to make and looks very effective on the tree.

The students will be working their magic on the Christmas trees in school over the next few weeks. It has been brilliant to have such a positive group of students doing a community project.
