Three Kenyan teachers received a warm welcome when they visited Clyst Vale recently. They were Francis Mwangi (Headteacher), Jane Mugo and Joseph Mohindo (teachers) from Ndururumo High School in Nyahuru, which is 100km north of Nairobi. During their stay they toured the College, joined in with lessons, visited lunchtime clubs and met with staff. At the end of their visit, a collaborative agreement between the two establishments was jointly signed. Both schools commit to developing a better understanding of each other’s culture and ways of working, forging meaningful links and promoting genuine friendship between the staff and students at the two schools through exchanging information, regular communication and exchange visits to each other’s schools, for both staff and students.
