Clerk to Governors & Company Secretary

Part Time: Working hours are 400 hours across the year.

Ideally this would include 3 hours per week during term time, based in college, but this is not essential.

The remaining hours are focused around the Governors’ meeting schedule across the year.  This role offers a good degree of flexibility for the right candidate and could be of interest to someone who is already a Clerk, and looking at the possibility of taking on another College.

Term: permanent

Salary: The salary range starts at £4,796 rising to £5,265 (actual).

The role:

We are looking for a highly motivated, forward thinking Clerk to Governors, to start as soon as possible.

Are you highly-organised with the ability to work autonomously?  Would you like a rewarding but challenging part-time role within an educational environment?  If so then this could be the position you are looking for.

Experience in a similar role, and of taking minutes of meetings, would be an advantage – but not essential.

If you have any questions about the role, please email Ann Hopkins, College Manager:

Closing date for all applications: Friday 1st October 2021 at 9am.

Interviews will take place on: Friday 8th October 2021.
