The Role

We are currently looking to recruit a Teacher of Spanish with French – Fixed term, until 31st August 2020. We would be looking for 1 FTE, however we could consider 0.8 FTE.

Required from 1st January at the latest, to join an established and successful team, an inspirational teacher of Modern Foreign Languages with the ability to teach French to a basic level at KS3 and Spanish at KS3 and 4. The ability to teach Spanish at GCSE is essential.  The successful candidate will be responsible for Years 10 and 11 Spanish classes amongst others.

Are you a flexible and skilled Finance Manager looking for a rare challenge? Are you able to hit the ground running, undertaking the maternity cover of this key role within the College? If so, read on.

The Role

Starting on Monday 6th January 2020 at the latest, for up to 12 months, Maternity Cover. Working 35 hours per week over 4 or 5 days.

With no two days ever being the same, you will support staff, students and external organisations in all areas of finance for the College.

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager who can provide comprehensive finance support to cover a period of maternity leave.

This role is very much a hands on role and would be a great for someone who has excellent attention to detail and is highly numerate, with previous knowledge of PSF considered an advantage.

Following a handover period, working within a small finance team, you will experience a level of autonomy, and so previous, recent experience of working in a School or College in a finance capacity would be advantageous.

About You

To be considered as the Finance Manager, you will need:

Finance Assistant Job Description and Person Specification

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our finance department in offering financial and administrative support to a wide range of stakeholders across the college and externally. The main focus of the role will be financial, alongside payroll administration; however there is always the opportunity to immerse yourself in the wider aspects of college life.

 

Hours of work

Starting on Monday 6th January 2020 at the latest. Working 32.5 hours per week over 4 or 5 days, for 41 weeks per annum. Working days must include Monday and Friday.  Exact working hours to be agreed dependent on number of working days. You will be required to work 2 weeks at the end of the summer holiday in addition to term time and non-pupil days.

The Role

With no two days ever being the same, you will support staff, students and external organisations in all matters financial. In addition you will assist the College Manager in the administration of the monthly payroll system.

This role would be a great opportunity for someone who has excellent attention to detail and is highly numerate, with previous knowledge of PSF considered an advantage.

Previous experience of working in a school and knowledge of SIMS would also be advantageous, but not essential.
