Caretaker – Permanent – All year round

£18,540 per annum (actual salary)

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Caretaker and we are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking and forward thinking individuals to work alongside our existing premises staff. The role is varied and duties will include security of the site, general caretaking, some minor maintenance and weekend lettings on a rota basis. Previous experience of routine maintenance tasks would be an advantage but is not essential.

Hours:

Term Time

1:00 pm – 8pm Monday – Thursday

12.00 noon – 7pm Friday

Holidays 08:45 – 17:00 Monday – Friday

Library Manager – Permanent – 35 hours per week / 39 weeks per year

£17,681 per annum (actual salary)

The Role

We are looking to fill the position of Library Manager and invite applications from passionate and self-motivated individuals. You must be enthusiastic and enjoy working with young people.  You should have a strong interest in children’s literature and have the versatility and flexibility to cope with varied tasks as priorities change.  You must have good organisational ability with a methodical approach to work and attention to detail as well as be pleasant, approachable, tactful and patient. A good sense of humour,  punctuality, reliability and excellent ICT skills are also required to be successful in this key post.
