Second in the World!!


Our Clystalians team made everyone proud by their superb performance in the Jaguar Landrover 4×4 World Finals, narrowly losing out to the King’s School, Worcester. 4×4 Schools Challenge World Championship


Our National Champion Teams are at the World 4×4 Schools Challenge Finals today in Coventry. The 4×4 teams from the nine countries represented have spent the day with some old technology at Warwick Castle, learning to be medieval knights. Thanks to Miss Williams for the photos; as she says, the team are practicing their infantry skills with varying success. Presumably this is to develop a competitive edge for tomorrow’s battle…….?

Formidable 4×4

On Friday 27th March, BOTH Clyst Vale 4×4 teams stood on the podium at the National 4×4 Championship held at Jaguar Landrover’s Gaydon headquarters. Faraday Challenge a Success


On Wednesday 18th March 2015 the IET funded a Faraday Challenge Day. Other local schools were also invited to work in small teams, designing and developing a product to make cycling safer and warn cyclist of upcoming dangers. Students modelled electronic circuits and then designed and made housings, developing a computer generated model which they then printed using 3D printers. […]
