Well done to all the students from Years 10 through to 13 who travelled to Oxford for a day at Exeter College, Oxford as part of the University’s Outreach programme for Gifted and Talented Students. The event involved myth-busting, quizzes, informal talks with undergraduates, tours of the college, a tour of the historic and picturesque parts of Oxford and lunch in the ancient wooden dining hall lined with oil paintings of alumni, deans and rectors. The students behaved brilliantly asking many well thought out questions and genuinely enjoyed the company of the three undergraduate students who walked them around the city. A day that will surely inspire the students to achieve their very best and eventually challenge for the top spots in some of England’s best universities.
